Biological products have a slow but lasting initial action. Respect the action time of microorganisms and enzymes.
Unclogging
To unclog, only use Biol2000 Liquid. (Note: Low water flow is a sign of partial clogging).
Important
Where to apply?
It is important to treat each point completely to clean the piping and avoid problems. (Toilet, drain, sink, etc.)
In cases of saturated septic tanks, apply directly to each stage of the septic tank, biodigester, soak pit, cesspool, and similar systems.
Use the dosage calculator to determine the correct treatment and amount to be applied. The calculator is available below, by selecting the problem you are facing.
How much should I use?
Use the dosage calculator provided on this page to determine the correct treatment and amount for your situation.
The calculator is available below, by selecting the problem you are facing.
Important
When should I apply?
Apply always at the last use of the day (Drains, sinks, toilets, etc.). This usually happens at night or at the end of the workday - in case of commercial situations.
Do I need to use water?
After applying each dose of the product, release around 1 to 2 liters of water so that Biol2000 comes into contact with the water, activates the microorganisms and enzymes, and then travels through the entire piping for cleaning.
Can I use chemical products together?
No. It is not recommended to apply Biol2000 together with hazardous chemical products, such as bleach or similar products.
If you do not want to stop using these hazardous chemical products, wait until the end of the treatment. And when making preventive applications, apply Biol2000 only after using these hazardous chemical products with an interval of more than 48 hours (for residential use).
Overflow
Do not make applications where the grease trap or septic tank is overflowing.
Microorganisms and enzymes need to stay inside the septic tank or grease trap to be most effective.

This application is suitable for various wastewater treatment systems. For example: Septic tank, cesspool, soakaway, biodigester, and other similar systems.
During this explanation, we will only use the term Septic Tank, but it applies to any wastewater treatment system.
To apply the correct treatment, the system will calculate the application (number of full doses) based on the size of the septic tank you provide.
Important¹: If you have a septic system with 2, 3, or more stages, provide the size of each stage separately and note down the dosage for each stage.
Important²: Saturation occurs when the soil, lateral, and bottom fissures of the septic tank become clogged, preventing the tank from draining properly. Emptying the tank does not mean it is no longer saturated; it just means it's empty.
A saturated septic tank requires different treatment than preventive application. Select the correct condition for your septic tank.

To clean the grease trap in your home, use this calculator to determine the correct application and recommended dosage. To calculate the proper dosage, we will only consider the monthly water consumption and the number of people living in the residence daily.
You can find this monthly water consumption information on your home's water bill. The information provided by your city's water utility will appear in the Water Consumption column, followed by the ft³ symbol, indicating the unit of measurement in cubic feet.
Fill in the fields below with the information so the system can calculate the appropriate dosage for your residence.
Monthly water consumption:
ft³ (cubic feet)
How many people live in the house?
People
For a residence that consumes up to 10 ft³ of water per month and has 2 person(s) living there, you can apply 1 Full Dose(s) per day, every day, for seven consecutive days. After the seven days of consecutive application, switch to weekly application.
The application can be made in the kitchen sink or points that lead to the grease trap. When applying, always flush approximately 0.5 gallons of water to activate the microorganisms and enzymes and allow them to flow through the pipes, cleaning the pipes and then falling into the grease trap.
In the first applications, it is common to see an increase in dirt in the grease trap due to the pipe cleaning.
Attention: In case of clogging or low water flow (a sign of clogging), we only recommend applying Biol2000 Liquid, as the heat-treated bran could worsen the clogging issue.
To clean the grease trap in your business, use this dosage and simplified application calculator to determine the correct application and recommended dosage. Cleaning a commercial grease trap is necessary when there is a high generation of organic matter. This is usually associated with commercial production.
If you have a small business that produces pasta, cakes, delivery, or other types of production, even if it is located in your home, the treatment used should be for commercial grease trap cleaning due to the high flow and high generation of organic matter.
It is crucial to consider the retention time in grease traps, soakaways, septic systems, and other wastewater treatment systems because microorganisms and enzymes need time to biodegrade the organic matter.
For example: If you have a high water flow and a small grease trap, the retention time is very short, and the product may not work effectively—because microorganisms and enzymes are living organisms, they need time to be activated, consume the dirt (organic matter), and reproduce.
To compensate for the lack of retention time, we can increase the dosage applied, but we need to identify whether this is financially viable for you, and with this advanced calculator, it will be possible to determine that.

Application in a condominium of houses or apartments
The best application scenario is for each resident to apply in their own residence. This way, the microorganisms and enzymes will clean the pipes of each unit, the central pipes, and the central grease trap.
However, in our tests, residents often committed to applying but did not follow through, usually due to forgetfulness or other personal reasons.
Therefore, our recommendation is that the weekly application is made by the condominium's caretaker directly in the central grease trap of the condominium.
Fill in the fields with your condominium's details to determine the correct dosage for your condominium.

Biol2000 has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture.
Yes. You can use them safely.
The use of detergents, soap, or shampoo does not affect the performance of the microorganisms and enzymes. You can use them as usual.
No. Biol2000 is a biological product.
Biological products use microorganisms, beneficial bacteria, and enzymes as active ingredients.
Biol2000 is composed of natural living microorganisms that carry out the natural process of organic matter biodegradation.
We do not recommend using chemical products, especially acidic, basic, corrosive, or caustic products, with Biol2000.
It is also advisable to avoid and suspend the use of: Bleach, chlorine-based cleaners, pine oil cleaners, and similar products, as these chemical products in high concentrations can negatively impact the performance of the microorganisms and enzymes in Biol2000.
Biol2000 works to clean pipes and eliminate harmful bacteria that live in the plumbing.
However, if you still choose to use these harmful chemical products, we recommend applying Biol2000 at least 48 hours after using these chemicals in residential settings, after the pipes have been thoroughly flushed with water.
For commercial, restaurant, delivery, industrial, etc. settings, we recommend applying Biol2000 at least 3 hours after using harmful chemical products, and also ensuring that plenty of water is flushed through the pipes to reduce the concentration of these harmful chemicals.
It's simple. Just download the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) you need by clicking the button below.
It's the same product, but the difference lies in the physical state, where one is liquid and the other is solid (it has a bran-like texture – where microorganisms and enzymes are in a dormant state until activated by water contact).
We recommend using Biol2000 solid for cleaning septic tanks, pipes, and grease traps, and eliminating bad odors because it has a longer retention time.
Biol2000 liquid is more suitable for treating industrial effluents, fish farms, wastewater treatment plants, and especially for unclogging.
Attention: To unclog, only use Biol2000 liquid.
Septic tank saturation occurs when the microcracks in the soil, sides, and bottom of the tank become clogged with organic matter, causing the tank to fill up more frequently.
Attention: Emptying the tank does not mean it is no longer saturated. Emptying the tank simply means it is empty. It will still have the serious problem of saturation.
Septic tank saturation is a serious issue, and it is best to prevent it with regular preventive applications because it is much more cost-effective to prevent the problem than to fix it with shock treatment, where a higher dosage is initially used to correct the issue.
Biol2000 is the only product that, when properly dosed for the volume of your tank, will correct this problem and prevent it from recurring.
Application in any type of septic tank is essential for several reasons, but mainly to avoid the serious issue of tank saturation.

Yes.
By applying Biol2000 in the correct dosage for your septic tank, you will no longer need to call a septic tank pumping truck because the microorganisms and enzymes will handle the dirty work of cleaning the tank and preventing saturation.
To find the correct dosage and treatment for your septic tank, use our calculator available in the topic What dosage should I apply to my septic tank? (Residential Calculator) at the top of this page.
Yes.
One of the many advantages of using Biol2000 is that by applying it to your septic tank, you ensure that the wastewater is treated.
This prevents soil contamination, well water contamination, and groundwater contamination, and eliminates harmful bacteria that can cause infections in animals and people.
Yes. To unclog, we only recommend using Biol2000 Liquid.
In situations like clogging or low water flow (a sign of clogging), we only recommend Biol2000 Liquid.
It is extremely important that in cases of clogging, Biol2000 liquid is used first because depending on the amount of organic matter accumulated in the clogged pipe, using Biol2000 Solid – which contains thermally treated bran – could worsen the problem.
Therefore, in cases of clogging, always use Biol2000 liquid.
If Biol2000 is only used to prevent pipe clogs, meaning there is no clogging or signs of clogging, such as low water flow, then Biol2000 solid can be used as usual.
Yes. For this situation, Biol2000 Liquid should be used.
Ideally, Biol2000 should be applied at 1 mL per flush in the urinal using a dispenser.
This is enough to prevent the salts and minerals in the urine from sticking to the pipe walls, avoiding clogs, and therefore, avoiding financial losses in repair work.
